Gas prices in West Virginia increase by a penny (AP)

CHARLESTON, W.Va. ? Gasoline prices are creeping back up in West Virginia.

According to a survey by AAA East Central, the average price of a gallon of unleaded self-serve gas in the state this week is $3.35, about a penny higher than the previous week. A year ago, a gallon of gas was running a little more than $3.16.

Average prices this week range from a low of $3.31 in Clarksburg to more than $3.38 in Parkersburg and Morgantown.
